WHAT’S NEW DECEMBER 2012 WorldImages

World images has recently added over 3000 images in a variety of areas including art and architecture, politics, exploration, and technology. A trip to Easter Island added images to the Oceanic section and caused a reorganization of images in that section. New images from Munich give a fuller background of German art and architecture and of the Nazi party, while those from Portugal present a Portuguese art and architecture with special emphasis on the early voyages of discovery conducted by the Portuguese and their colonial possessions. Flags, seals and coats of arms have been brought together in a portfolio, and our section on the history of technology has been brought up to date by additions to the development of computers.
